Blackbackground with Version Number

After installing (clean install) the 32 Bit Vista and trying the 64-bitversion it boots up as if the installation went 100% through. Shows the boot screen and everything. Once here it restarts once, and returns to the same position. My Screen remains black with a mouse cursor and the version in the bottom right hand corner (Windows Vista (TM) Beta 2 Build 5384. I am instailling vista using the Silicon SATA connection. the Alt-cntl-del buttons don't work, nither do the windows quick keys. Any suggestions?

Good news!! That means the installation is ready. The black screen is a wait screen. You should just wait till its done installing some stuff.

I waited 8 hrs overnight :) nothing happened :)
